Lunesdale Photographic Competition 2008

There was a good range entries for this year's competion and a new way of judging was used.  For those of you not there the pictures were judged by an small independent panel of photographers and artists.  Their input was scored and then the members present at the AGM got their chance to judge the pictures in the same way.  The two sets of scores were weighted so that the panel's scores and the members; scores were equally weighted and the pictures with the highest overall scores picked.  Interestingly both the panel and the members chose the same top three pictures.

And the winners were .....

1st Place

2nd Place

3rd Place

Thanks to everyone who took part, either by entering a picture or by being there on the night to take part in the judging.  A special thank you to Jim for finding a screen to project the pictures on to.
